Produced from quarry production and is a crushed fine aggregate with a particle size generally between 0-5mm.
STONE BASE (WASTE MATERIAL)HARDCORE
Composed of individual stone sizes ranging between 0-100mm.
ARMOUR/BEACHING ROCK (BOULDERS)
Large individual sized rocks generally ranging in size above 600x600mm or 60x60mm and not greater 1500mm.
HAND SORTED ROCKS (SPALLS)/HARDCORE
Hand sorted and hand picked stock piles loaded directly in a truck in bag sizes. The size of material ranges between 75-200mm.
BLASTED ROCK (NON CRUSHED BLASTED ROCK)
Rock produced from a quarry blast. Varies in size depending on the source rock and blast design pattern.
AGGREGATES (CRUSHED ROCK)/CHIPPINGS
A granular material produced from rock deposits. Aggregate materials are sized at 0-5mm, ½” and ⅜” (5-15mm), ¾” (15-22mm), 1” (22-32mm).
