How we Keep Safe:
- We maintain a safe work operating and work environment by way of health and safety records for inspections, hazard registers, accident registers and timely training for our staff.
- All Safety equipment like fire extinguishers and first aid boxes are within proximity, well maintained and stocked from time to time.
- Heavy machines and other production equipment are well maintained, stored properly, and operators use proper, always available PPEs when manning the equipment.
- Substances are adequately labelled in containers and materials and tools are adequately shelved and stored appropriately.
- All vehicles are well maintained with no loose parts with first aid kits and only 4 by 4s are allowed to go offroading in our production facilities.
Our Contractors Shall:
- Comply with all the appropriate codes of practice, legislation and regulations which apply to any work or procedure undertaken.
- Only employ staff who have the training, skills, experience and qualifications appropriate.
- Have written Health and Safety standards which are approved by the Principal and be conversant with and adhere to the Principal ‘s Policy and Rules by signing the copies attached.
- Take all practical steps to ensure that all potential hazards to health and safety are routinely identified, eliminated, isolated or minimized.
- Ensure all appropriate protective clothing and equipment is provided and used.
- Immediately advise the Principal of any accident or potential accident.
